A Harrisburg woman with an outstanding arrest warrant was arrested with her sister after causing a disturbance at Field of Screams in West Hempfield Township last weekend.
Dijor M. Boykin, 28, and her sister Deshanna L. Boykin, 27, were arrested for disorderly conduct just after 10 p.m. Oct. 7 at the Lancaster County attraction. The women disrupted a live concert and were detained by two constables, according to a news release from West Hempfield Township police.
The women were taken to police headquarters where it was determined Dijor Boykin was wanted failure to pay costs resulting from a homicide by vehicle conviction in 2010. Boykin pleaded guilty in the crash that killed Carolyn Henry on June 5, 2009, in Susquehanna Township.
Investigators determined that Boykin was sending and receiving text messages and phone calls at the approximate time of the crash. She was sentenced to five years probation and ordered to pay more than $21,000 in costs and restitution.
The Boykin sisters face summary offenses for disorderly conduct for the recent incident.
