Verbal dispute led to shooting Wednesday night, suspect wanted for attempted criminal homicide

Lancaster police are looking for a 20-year-old Manor Township man in connection with a shooting Wednesday night.

Lowell Trashawn Foster is accused of shooting an 18-year-old man at around 7:25 p.m. on the 600 block of South Queen Street in Lancaster. Police arrived at the scene to find the victim suffering from a single gunshot wound before the man was taken to a local hospital for treatment of not life-threatening injuries. 

Witnesses told police the shooter and the victim knew each other and had a verbal dispute prior to the incident. Through an investigation, police were able to identify Foster as the suspect and bring charges against him.

A second man, who gave Foster the handgun used in the shooting, has not been identified, police said, noting that Foster may still be armed.

Foster is charged with attempted criminal homicide and felony conspiracy to commit aggravated assault. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
