An Upper Allen Twp. woman has been charged with endangering the welfare of children after police found her young children walking in the street unsupervised on Sept. 28 while she was asleep inside her Reservoir Road home.
Brittany Spotts, 25, turned herself into Upper Allen Twp. police on Thursday and was charged with child endangerment, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police.
Police said they investigated a similar occurrence at the same location earlier last month. During their investigation of the most recent incident, they found the marijuana and drug paraphernalia laying in the home where the children, ages 3 years old and younger, would have had access to it. As a result, the children were removed from the home.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 31.
