Two people were shot Monday afternoon on the South Side near the former Harold L. Ickes homes.
The shooting happened at 1:07 p.m. in the 2600 block of South Federal Street, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.
One male victim was shot in the face and neck, and was taken in critical condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said. Another male victim was shot in the buttocks and was also taken to Northwestern.
Police were searching for three suspects, two males and one female.
