Police in Johnstown said a toddler told them “Mommy dead” before taking them to his mother, who was passed out amid a litter of empty heroin bags.
Mommy wasn’t actually dead, Tribune-Democrat reported, but she was unconscious at the kitchen table.
Officers were summoned to the Moxham home Wednesday by a neighbor who reported that an unattended child was outside the home, honking the horn of a car.
The child’s mother, 39-year-old Constance McCausland, was charged with child endangerment, disorderly conduct and drug possession, police said. The child was placed in the custody of another family member.
