Teens charged in string of Lebanon County home invasions

Three teens were arrested and charged with a string of recent home invasions and attempted robberies in North Lebanon Township.

The suspects, two 17-year-old males and a female of the same age confessed to the robbers and were charged with burglary, theft of firearms and criminal conspiracy on Oct. 14, police said. Additional attempted robbery charges are pending, according to police.

On Oct. 10, police responded to a home burglary report in the 1800 block of Martin Drive. The homeowner said their house had been forcibly entered, and guns, jewelry and other items were stolen, according to police. Other robberies also were reported along Brookwood and Fawnwood drives, police said.

A witness saw three teens in the area at the time of the burglaries, according to police.

To enter the homes, one of the suspects would knock on a door and ask for directions to the Lebanon Valley Mall as the others tried to enter the back of house, police said.

Police said they were able to identify the teens with help from the Conwall Lebanon School District police.

The suspects were turned over to Lebanon County juvenile probation.

Anyone with additional information about these incidents is asked to contact North Lebanon police at 717-273-8141 or Lebanon County communications at 717-272-2054.
