An 18-year-old Joshua man has died at a local hospital after being shot during the weekend, police said Sunday.
Officials at the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office identified the victim as Chaz Gilley who was pronounced dead at 3:32 p.m. Saturday at John Peter Smith Hospital.

Responding to the shooting call, paramedics arrived at a neighborhood fire station where Gilley had been taken by a motorist who the victim had flagged down.

The teen was taken to John Peter Smith where he died Saturday.
Police did not release any additional details or a motive for the killing.
