Moisture from Julia, which remains offshore, will combine with the front and help to fire numerous showers, and even a few thunderstorms across the region. Some of these could be quite heavy. According to the SPC, we are not in a risk for severe weather today.
Temps today will struggle to make the low 80s.
This threat will continue through Tuesday, with rounds of showers and thunderstorms expected as the front gets hung up near the coast and Julia slowly moves inland. The heavier shower chances do shift east.
Wednesday brings gradually improving conditions with temps staying in the 80s.
Both Thursday and Friday will feature a shower or two in the area, but the widespread rain threat will be over with.
Have a great work week!
