FAIRFIELD, Maine — State police and wardens are searching the property of a Fairfield woman who has been missing since Aug. 30, police reported Tuesday.
Valerie Tieman, 34, was last seen at Wal-Mart in Skowhegan, according to Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland.
She was reported missing on Sept. 9 to Fairfield police by her parents, who live out of state, McCausland said. State police joined the investigation on Sept. 13.
Valerie Tieman resided at 628 Norridgewock Road with her husband, Luc Tieman, who has cooperated with investigators, McCausland said. Luc Tieman told police he had gone into the store, and she was missing from the truck when he returned a short time later, he said.
