State police have charged three St. John Valley men for burglary at Chamberlain’s Market in St. Francis.
ST. FRANCIS, Maine — At approximately 7 a.m. on August 27, 2016, the Maine State Police received a report of a burglary that took place at Chamberlain’s Market in St. Francis.
Tr. Travis Luce responded to the scene and began his investigation. Tr. Luce was able to retrieve video evidence from the surveillance camera system that indicated three individuals entered the store and stole tobacoo products.
Over the following month, Tr. Luce interviewed multiple people and witnesses and determined the suspects’ identities.
On Thursday, Oct. 6, Tr. Luce charged all three individuals with Burglary, Class C, and Theft Class E. The suspects are Joshua Hafford, age 21, from Fort Kent; Anthony McBreairty, age 18, from Cross Lake; and Brandon Levesque, age 19, from Madawaska. All three men will appear in court Nov. 7, 2016 in Fort Kent.
The Madawaska Police Department and Fort Kent Police Department assisted in the case.
