MILO, Maine — Erin Speed’s goal late in the second half provided Piscataquis Community of Guilford with a 5-4 girls soccer win over Penquis on Wednesday.
Speed finished the day with three goals and Sara Almirante scored two for the Pirates. Alivia Hunt saved 15 of 24 shots.
Camryn Rolfe netted two goals while Rachel McManus and Kylee Trafton had one for Penquis. Jordan Durant made seven saves on 12 shots.
Penobscot Valley 2, Lee/Stearns 1
At Lee, Riley Buck netted a pair of second-half goals to lift Penobscot Valley of Howland past Lee/Stearns.

Paige Thibodeau made 15 saves on 19 shots for the Howlers.
Julia Shannon had the lone goal for Lee/Stearns, with Emma Alley assisting on it.
Greenville 4, Bangor Christian 1
At Greenville, Ashley Simko’s two goals led the Lakers past Bangor Christian.
Shelby Cowin scored one goal and assisted on another for 7-5 Greenville, and Bianca Breton added a goal and Charlotte Aucoin an assist.
Bangor Christian falls to 4-8.
Schenck 0, Mattanawcook Acad. 0
At East Millinocket, the Wolverines and Lynx of Lincoln couldn’t muster a goal through regulation and two overtimes.
Allison Noddin saved three of eight shots for Schenck while Symone Mauburn stopped eight of 10 shots for Mattanawcook Academy.
Orono 4, Dexter 1
At Dexter, Brinsley Chasse netted two goals and an assist to lead Orono past Dexter.
Becky Lopez-Anido and Daphne Murphy added goals for the Red Riots. Kaitlyn Richards saved seven of 11 shots.
Reaghan Patterson saved 13 of 21 shots for Dexter.
Washington Acad. 5, Calais 2
At Calais, Ashley Porter scored two goals to lead Washington Academy of East Machias past Calais.
Lydia Day, River Hodgdon and Molly Sheehan added goals for WA. Hannah Atcherson saved five of 12 shots.
Sydney Farrar and Prue Maxwell scored the goals for Calais. Lauren Cook came up with 19 saves on 24 shots.

At Caribou, Paige McHatten’s goal late in the second overtime supplied Presque Isle with a win over Caribou.
Madison Michaud assisted on the winning goal while Clara Kohlbacher’s goal late in regulation tied it for the 8-3-2 Wildcats. Tori Koch assisted on the tying goal, while Savannah Rodriguez had four saves on 16 shots.
Searra Hebert scored in the first half for 9-3-1 Caribou, with Gabrielle Marquis providing the assist. Kerrigan Manter made three saves on seven shots.

Madawaska 2, Fort Kent 1
At Madawaska, Hannah Nadeau scored a first-half goal and assisted on a second-half tally by Jenna Dugal to lead Madawaska past Fort Kent.
Desiree Belanger made three saves on four shots for the Owls.
Dolcie Tanquay tallied an unassisted goal for Fort Kent. Morgan Roy saved four of six shots.
