The National Weather Service is urging midstate residents to be on the lookout for hazardous weather conditions as showers pound the area Monday morning and afternoon.
The midstate may receive up to 2 inches of rain on Monday, which may lead to minor flooding problems. Showers and thunderstorms are most likely to continue through 2 p.m., though there is a chance conditions will continue past 2 p.m.
It will be a high of 79 degrees and a low of 62 degrees on Monday.
Monday showers will progress into warm, sunny weather for the rest of the week. Tuesday will be sunny, with a high near 85 degrees and a low of 61 degrees.
Wednesday will be sunny with a high near 85 and a low around 58 degrees.
Thursday will be sunny with a high near 84 degrees and a low around 60 degrees.
Friday will progress from sunny to partly cloudy with a high near 85 degrees and a low of 62 degrees.
