Shooting in northeast Spokane sends man to the hospital
SPOKANE, Wash. -
Spokane police say a man is in the hospital after a shooting in northeast Spokane Saturday night.
The shooting happened just before 9:30 p.m. near Standard and Ermina. First responders reported the victim in the shooting had life-threatening injuries, but as of Sunday morning the man is in the hospital in stable condition.
Police say a juvenile suspect has been taken into custody for the shooting, but it’s not clear if that suspect has been charged in the shooting. Investigators believe the two people knew each other, but the extent of their relationship isn’t known at this time. The names of the people involved have not yet been released.
