Bucknell University last year expelled three students for making racist comments during a March 20 campus radio broadcast over WVBU-FM, the student radio station.
The discussion played this way:
Student #1: “N******.”
Student #2: “Black people should be dead.”
Student #3: “Lynch ’em!”
Blacks make up 3 percent of the undergraduate student body at Bucknell.
Bucknell LAST YEAR ALSO DEALT with the “racist, hateful language” that was written on a whiteboard on a faculty member’s office door.
In a campus-wide email, Bucknell University President Jon Bravman said school officials were looking to identify the individual(s) responsible “for this disgusting display of intolerance.”
