A shooting in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side left a man wounded and suspended Red Line service Sunday afternoon.
The shooting happened about 1:05 p.m. in the first block of West 95th Street, according to preliminary from Chicago Police.
A 23-year-old man was shot in the left shoulder and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
As a result of the police activity, Red Line service was suspended between 95th and 87th, according to the CTA. Shuttle buses are providing service through the affected area.
