KENT COUNTY, Mich. (WOOD) — The Kent County Road Commission is sharing some of the best places to catch West Michigan’s fall colors.
The agency Thursday released maps of eight color tour routes that take drivers along 237 miles of tree-lined roads with optional stops at wooded trails and picturesque parks.

This is not the first time the Kent County Road Commission has compiled a Fall Color Tour for travelers. Managing Director Steve Warren said agency records include tours from the 1950s through 1980s.
“This year, we thought it would be a great tradition to restore,” Warren added in a Thursday news release.
