Rep. Robert Saucier is pleased to announce the showing of an educational film on drug addiction and a community discussion at University of Maine at Presque Isle on Wednesday, Nov. 2 from 6 to 8 p.m.
“The Hungry Heart” provides an intimate look at the hidden world of drug addiction and the successes and challenges of recovery.

“The opioid crisis in Maine is only getting worse,” said Saucier, D-Presque Isle. “I hope this film will provide an insight into the struggles of addiction and recovery. We need to come together as a community to determine how we can end this horrible epidemic.”
