EASTON, Maine — A man from Presque Isle was arrested and charged with operating under the influence charge late Friday afternoon after a rollover crash in Easton, Maine State Police Sgt. Jeff Clark said Saturday.
James Dumond, 36, was traveling west on Ladner Road in his 2002 Chevrolet S-10 pickup when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road shortly before 4 p.m., Clark said in a news release.
The vehicle left the right side of the roadway, went into a culvert and then rolled over. Clark cited speed and alcohol as factors in the crash
Dumond suffered minor injuries in the crash. A passenger in the vehicle, whose name was not available, was not injured, Clark said.

Trooper Ryan Kilcollins, Cpl. Dennis Quint and Sergeant Jeffrey Clark responded to the scene.
After his arrest, Dumond was taken to Aroostook County Jail in Houlton, where he was being held late Saturday morning on $500 cash bail, a jail official confirmed.
