State police charged an Adams County man after he allegedly tried to get away after his car careened through a residential yard early Saturday.
State police said Joshua Mort, 25, of Fairfield was driving on Potato Road at about 1:15 a.m. when he lost control on a turn and went down an embankment. According to state police, his car then hit two propane tanks and the steps of a home. Mort then allegedly drove around the home and unsuccessfully tried to drive up an embankment and back onto the road. He allegedly then reversed and hit an antenna on the property before eventually getting back on Potato Road and driving away.
Police charged Mort with violating laws for driving on a laned roadway.
