A 78-year-old Tennessee woman died in an Oct. 10 crash in which a car went airborne near an Interstate 81 exit in Antrim Township in Franklin County.
The victim is Emma Kepka. She was a passenger in the car driven by 81-year-old Rudolph Kepka, according to an accident report released by state police at Chambersburg on Wednesday.
According to state police, their car was traveling at about 55 mph when Rudolph Kepka lost control for an unknown reason, causing the Chrysler Sebring to leave the road, hit an embankment and go airborne before landing on its side. Emma Kepka died at the scene. Rudolph Kupka sustained minor injuries, police said.
