A pedestrian was fatally struck by an Expo Line train Monday morning, triggering major Metro delays in Exposition Park.
The fatal accident was reported about 11:01 a.m. in the 2300 block of Exposition Boulevard, according to Erik Scott, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Few details were released about the pedestrian’s death.
Train service was suspended between Expo/Crenshaw and Expo/Western stations. Bus shuttles were requested to haul passengers. Major delays were also reported through the route.
