OLD TOWN, Maine — A local man and two men from Connecticut are facing drug trafficking charges after Old Town police executed a search warrant Friday on Howard Street.
Charged with unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs were Jason Pete, 35, and Michael Pete, 51, both of Waterbury, Connecticut, and Kevin Fowler, 51, of Old Town, Capt. Lee Miller said Sunday.
Miller said that that Jason Pete and Michael Pete were charged with two trafficking counts each and that Fowler was charged with one count of trafficking as well as possession of scheduled drugs.
All three men remained at Penobscot County Jail Sunday, a jail official confirmed.

Fowler is being held on $2,500 cash bail, and bail for Michael Pete was set at $10,000 cash. Jason Pete is being held without bail.
Miller said that Old Town police obtained the search warrant as the result of an investigation by Detective Jordan Norton.
During the search, police seized 170 individual packets of heroin, 99 OxyContin pills and an baggie of an unidentified white powder, Miller said.
Miller said that Orono police assisted with the case.
