A man on a motorcycle died after colliding with a vehicle in Lancaster County on Friday afternoon, according to state police.
The victim was identified as Brandon Rico, no age given, of Newmanstown, Lebanon County, police said.
Investigators said Rico was traveling south along the 2200 block of Furnace Hills Pike in Elizabeth Township just after 12:30 p.m., on his Harley-Davidson Sportster, when the crash occurred.
Rico was traveling along the road when a woman in a Dodge Durango traveling northbound was in the process of attempting to make a left turn into the parking lot of a business, police said.
“(Rico) attempted to slow his vehicle, lost control and fell over on the roadway,” according to a news release.
Rico then slid under the Dodge Durango and suffered “severe injuries,” police said.
Rico, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner’s office, police said.
No charges have been filed as a result of the crash. Police said they are continuing to investigate.
