Rain is expected to continue falling around the midstate through most the weekend, according to AccuWeather and the National Weather Service at State College.
Up to an inch of rain is possible for some spots around the midstate through Saturday, with a slight chance of more showers on Sunday.
Monday is the next rain-free day in the forecast, according to the National Weather Service.
“Following the pockets of heavy rain into Friday night, rainfall over much of the mid-Atlantic is likely to become more sporadic in nature during this weekend,” according to AccuWeather.
For Friday, there will be an 80 percent chance of rain. High near 62. Rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. The low at night will be around 59.
SATURDAY: A 60 percent chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 67. Rainfall amounts between a quarter and a half of an inch possible. Low around 59.
SUNDAY: A 40 percent chance of scattered showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 73. Low around 56.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny, with a high near 75. Low around 55.
