DALLAS – Anyone curious as to how Dallas Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle runs a practice session will now have an opportunity to see it for themselves.
The Mavs will have a practice session that’s free and open to the public on Sept. 28 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The event will occur at American Airlines Center.
The Mavs are promoting this as sort of a take a break from work, have lunch and watch them practice kind of day.
Fans can park for free in the Lexus Parking Garage, hotdogs and sodas will be sold at $2 each, and Mavs representatives will be on hand to assist those who would like to purchase season tickets.
In addition, photo opportunities with the Mavs Dancers, Mavs Man, Mavs ManiAACS and Champ will be available. Fans also will have a chance to win autographed items, opening night tickets and Mavs merchandise.
Mavs gear can be purchased on that day at The Hangar team store in Victory Park for 20 percent off.
The doors will open at 11 a.m. and practice starts at noon. But there will be no autograph sessions with the current players.
