Man shot outside Harrisburg bar

An argument is believed to have sparked a shooting outside a Harrisburg bar Monday, Harrisburg police said Tuesday.

A man was shot in the leg outside the Jazzland Bar, 1922 Walnut Street, around 11 p.m., police said. The man was taken to Penn State Hershey and is expected to recover, police said.

Police said they responded to a call of multiple shots fired and arrived to find a man shot in the leg. The victim and suspect may have had an argument, and that the victim was shot as he was leaving the bar.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 717-255-7299. Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest in this incident. Tips may be left on the Dauphin County Crime Watch web site.
