BARDSTOWN, KY (WAVE) – A Bardstown man is charged with second-degree wanton endangerment after shooting in the air, near a woman and her dog after mistaking the woman for a clown.
Adam Tingle saw a woman walking her dog Monday night, just before 11:20 p.m and yelled at her, thinking she was a scary clown that’s been popping up all over social media recently.

After the woman and her dog didn’t stop walking, Tingle fired a shot from his rifle into the air. Tingle told responding officers that he shot in the air because he felt frightened due to the recent clown sightings.
The woman and her dog were not hurt by the gunfire.
