man was fatally stabbed Tuesday night in a Fort Worth apartment complex parking lot, police said Wednesday morning.
Officers arrived about 11 p.m. at the Villages at Samaritan House in the 1000 block of Hemphill Street at about the same time a shooting call came in at the same location, police said.
Officers determined that the man, who has not been identified, had been stabbed rather than shot, Fort Worth police spokesperson Robin Krouse said. Police performed first aid on the man, who was accompanied by a woman, until medical personnel arrived and took over, police said.
He was taken to the hospital but died from his wounds, Krouse said.
No suspects are in custody, but homicide detectives are investigating, police said.
Villages at Samaritan House provides housing to people with major health issues such as HIV/AIDS, and who are either homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
