A man was injured in a one-car crash Tuesday evening in Cornwall, Lebanon County, according to borough police.
The crash occurred just after 6:15 p.m. near the intersection of Route 72 and Zinns Mill Road, police said.
Stanley Robinson, 58, of Lebanon, was traveling south on Route 72 in his 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo “at a high rate of speed when he attempted to pass on the right traffic that was stopped to turn left onto Zinns Mill Road,” police said.
Robinson lost control of his vehicle, traveled through a yard along North Zinns Mill Road and struck a utility pole and a UGI gas line, police said.
His vehicle then became airborne, struck the embankment and rolled end over end, police said.
Robinson was ejected from vehicle during the crash and transported to the Hershey Medical Center, police said.
An update on his condition was not immediately available.
