Man charged after stolen goods found in stolen vehicle he was driving

An 18-year-old Lebanon man was found in a stolen vehicle with stolen merchandise the morning of a burglary spree, North Lebanon Township police say.

Austin Palm, of Lake Drive, is accused of breaking into Dollar General, New Covenant Christian School and WLBR radio early Oct. 14. He is also accused of trying to break into Ebenezer Fire Company and a vehicle there, and of taking a vehicle from a home in the 400 block of Ebenezer Road. He was also charged with criminal mischief at North Lebanon Township Ebenezer Ballfields on Long Lane.

Palm was found in the stolen vehicle at 12th and Maple streets that morning, police said. Items from Dollar General Store were found in the vehicle, along with marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Clothing and shoe prints from the crime scenes also matched those worn by Palm, police said.

Palm was detained on a probation violation and placed in Lebanon County prison. Correctional Facility. He was charged with three counts of burglary and criminal mischief, one count of attempted burglary, theft of a vehicle, vehicle theft and possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
