A Lemoyne man is accused in three recent West Shore burglaries, police say.
Joseph Michael Bortz Jr., 20, of the 900 block of Hummel Avenue, is accused of climbing through the window into a home in the first block of Mountain View Drive, Enola, at 11:45 a.m. Monday, East Pennsboro Township police said.
An off-duty Dauphin County probation officer said he saw him enter the home, and police confronted Bortz as he walked out the front door carrying items, police said.
Police accuse Bortz in two other East Pennsboro burglaries that occurred Oct. 4 in the 100 blocks of Arnold and Henry roads in Enola. He is charged with burglary, theft and criminal trespass.
