A little girl child was shot after she was caught in the crossfire of a drive-by shooting near Fair Park in southeast Dallas Thursday night.
The little girl was transported to local hospital after the shooting that occurred about 10 p.m. near the intersection of Metropolitan and Second Avenues, according to WFAA Channel 8.
Her condition is not known.
A witness told WFAA that she heard several gunshots and saw an SUV drive away from the scene.
“All I know is I was at the carwash and I heard some shooting,” the witness told WFAA. “I didn’t run at first, so when I looked up all I saw was […] the fire coming from the gun.”

Multiple cars in the area had bullet holes after the drive by, media reportssay. The shots may have come from a red Chevy Tahoe, according to CBS DFW.
