Police have arrested and charged a Lebanon man with the robbery of a North Lebanon Township bank Wednesday morning.
Christopher Leedom, 33, was arrested a short distance from the Jonestown Bank at 1725 Route 72 north shortly after he robbed it at about 9:35 a.m., police said.
Wearing a bandana, sunglasses and a hooded sweatshirt, Leedom handed a teller a note demanding money as he held a knife and gun, according to police. He fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. No one was injured
Bank employees were able to provide officers with a description and location of Leedom, and all of the money he stole was recovered, police said.
Leedom was charged with robbery, theft by unlawful taking, possessing instruments of crime, simple assault and resisting arrest. He was taken to Lebanon County central booking for arraignment.
