A freight train car derailed in Raleigh Sunday afternoon, clogging some downtown intersections.
The car that derailed was empty, and there were no injuries reported. According to Raleigh police, the incident is minor.
Some downtown streets are blocked indefinitely while Norfolk Southern investigates, though.
Jones Street between West Street and Glenwood Avenue is currently closed, as is Hargett Street between West Street and Boylan Avenue.
