Early voting for the 2016 presidential election in New Mexico began Tuesday.
The first early-voting spot to open for Bernalillo County is at the Clerk’s Annex at 1500 Lomas Blvd. Northwest and will be open Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The county will open up 18 more locations on Oct. 22 that will stay open until Nov. 15.
The county clerk’s office also sent absentee ballots Tuesday to people who submitted an absentee application.
The website, ‘My Voter Information’ allows residents to put their information in, which then gives them a unique bar code to help for a faster check-in process at the polls.
The website has a sample ballot of all the races, including questions voters can expect.
Voters may also call (505) 243-VOTE (8683) for assistance.
