COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho -
A 43-year-old Coeur d’Alene woman was arrested Sunday afternoon trying to shoplift nearly $2300 worth of merchandise from a Hayden Walmart, according to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office.
Store security called the Sheriff’s Office after the woman walked out of the story with two carts full of merchandise she didn’t pay for. Deputies contacted the woman, who gave them a fake name. It was eventually identified as 43-year-old Jennifer Dossett of Coeur d’Alene.
The carts were filled with 360 items that were valued at nearly $2300.
Dossett was arrested on charges of Burglary, Grand Theft and Giving False identification to a Peace Officer. Additionally, she had an outstanding theft warrant for her arrest stemming from a theft charge in September at the same Walmart store.
Dossett has been booked into the Kootenai County jail six previous times for driving and drug-related charges.
