MARSHALL, Mich. (WOOD) — Calhoun County sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing woman who they say may be endangered.
Deputies say 75-year-old Jane Wilson left her home in the 500 block of East Drive on foot sometime between 11:00 p.m. Sunday and 12:40 a.m. Monday. Her family told authorities that Wilson has Stage 4 Brain Cancer, as well as dementia.
Authorities from the sheriff’s office, Battle Creek Police Department and Michigan State Police have been searching for Wilson on foot. Deputies say several K-9 units were brought in as well.
Wilson is described as a white female, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 100 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing only a red turtle neck and underwear with no pants or shoes.
Marshall police and Calhoun County deputies are asking the public to check their back yards, as well as unlocked vehicles, for Wilson.
