LONDON (CNN) – People in London lined up for the chance to receive a mystery tattoo.
Celebrity tattoo artist Scott Campbell offered 18 ordinary people a free tattoo on the condition that they could have no say in what the tattoo would be.
The tattoo artist, who has inked such people as Orlando Bloom and Penelope Cruz, said the project offered people a chance to not take their physical selves too seriously.
The line stretched around the block, but only a few got in.
These lucky people placed their arms through a hole in the wall. Campbell was waiting on the other side and provided the people with their tattoo.
“Getting a tattoo like this is like getting a Christmas gift. You know, unwrapping a box and not knowing what’s inside. It’s exactly the same. Only this one you can’t throw away or re-gift,” said Chris Sexton, who received a mystery tattoo.
Sexton said he loved the idea of doing something spontaneous, and he was thrilled by his tattoo when he finally saw it.
