Body found in North Spokane County home may have been there months
SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. -
Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes detectives are investigating the death of a man found in a house in the 3000 block of East Lincoln in North Spokane County.
Deputies initially received the report of a deceased person inside the home Monday morning at around 8:30 a.m. Deputies responded to the home and discovered the dead man, who appears to have been in the house for an extended period of time, possibly months.
Because of how long the body may have been in the house, detectives requested a search warrant for the house Tuesday morning. Detectives believe the man lived an extremely isolated lifestyle and did not have much, if any, contact with his neighbors.
Detectives will work with the Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office to identify the deceased and notify next of kin, as well as the cause and manner of death.
