Bill Clinton campaigning for wife in MI on Monday

SAGINAW/FLINT, Mich. (WOOD) — Former President Bill Clinton is expected to make a couple stops in Michigan on Monday to campaign for his wife and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

The Clinton campaign announced in a news release that he will speak at public events in Saginaw and Flint.

The Saginaw campaign rally is scheduled to begin at 1:15 p.m. Monday at the Dow Event Center. Doors open at noon.

Bill Clinton will then head over to Flint to the University of Michigan-Flint’s Northbank Center. The event is expected to begin at 3:15 p.m. with doors opening at 2 p.m.

Those interested in attending need to RSVP online.

The former president will talk about his wife’s plans for the economy, as well as urge residents to register to vote ahead of the Oct. 11 voter registration deadline.
