The latest addition to Bangor’s growing beer scene has just arrived in downtown. 2 Feet Brewing, the long-in-the-works nanobrewery from local homebrewer Cory Ricker, opened its cozy new tasting room at 80 Columbia Street, in a very recently renovated location adjacent to Harvest Moon Deli, and formerly occupied by Vapeway.
Ricker is an accomplished homebrewer who this year has made the jump to a professional. His experimental beers span the gamut from Barn Burner, a chili-spiced saison, to Banana Bread, a fruity, easy-drinking weizenbock, all available as pints, samplers or to take home as growlers. Nok-Noi Ricker, Cory’s wife, is behind the bar, and has concocted a short menu of snacks and small plates, including sweet and spicy chicken wings, curried deviled eggs and lobster rangoons.
Hours for the new brewery are 3 to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, and 3 to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. For more information, like them on Facebook.
