The 10 Freeway in Fontana has been closed in both directions after a SWAT team responded to a crash and possible shooting Friday morning.
A rollover crash was reported on the eastbound 10 Freeway near Cherry Avenue at about 4:09 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol’s traffic incident log.
A man who was bleeding from their head was spotted inside the vehicle, prompting officials to stop traffic.
Authorities received a call reporting someone heard gunfire, however officials have been unable to confirm if any shots were fired.
A SWAT unit was sent to the scene to investigate, said a supervisor with the Inland Communication Center.
A SigAlert was issued just before 4:40 a.m. for the closure of all traffic lanes on both the east and westbound sides of the freeway.
